The Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department has multiple venues available for the publics use.  Whether you need a meeting area, a place for a family gathering or a corporate outing we can accommodate your needs.  Following is a list of available facilities for rent:

Picnic Shelters
Shelters are equipped with electricity and picnic tables.
Rental times: 7 days a week with two choices either 11am -5pm or 5pm – 10pm.
Reservations are made by calling our main office at 605-882-6260
Rental Fee: $13.00 per time slot

We offer six different locations to hold your event:

  • City Park Main Shelter #1
  • City Park Shelter #2
  • City Park Shelter #3

Derby Downs Clubhouse
Clubhouse consists of meeting space along with full kitchen facility.
Rental times available 7 days a week April – November
Reservations made by calling our main office at 882-6260
Rental Fee: $30.00 plus a $50.00 refundable deposit.

City Auditorium
Available for rent is the gymnasium consisting of two playing courts or 8,400 sq ft of flat floor space with balcony and stage area.  Also available are two meeting rooms: The Multi-purpose room which will seat approximately 100 people and the conference room will accommodate around 15.
Rental time is strictly on availability and varies throughout the seasons.

Watertown Family Aquatic Center
Enjoy the WFAC all by yourself as a family, group or corporation.  You will have access to the entire facility which is also staffed for your group safety.
Rental times are Saturday or Sunday in season from 7:15pm – 9:00pm
Reservations can be made by calling the WFAC at 882-6267
Rental Fee: $400.00 for rental slots up to 100 people and $3.00 each addl.
